Smaller world

I'm waiting on confirmation on this, but it appears one of my former rowers is returning to her alma mater, and will be the novice coach.  Betsy, affectionately known as "Paint stick" was one of the key athletes in my first novice 8 while I was at the University of Puget Sound.  She was a very dedicated, hardworking athlete, with a phenomenal, can-do attitude, and if the rumor is true, that she is heading back to UPS, then that program is all the better for it.  While I'm not looking forward to seeing her "across the field" so to speak, I'm pretty excited about the prospects of catching up at the regattas this spring.
