Well rowed

US Soccer, and the world lost a coaching legend today.  

Tony DiCicco, former head coach for the US Women's National Team passed away today.  Here is a link to the notice from US Soccer.  

I remember watching the 1999 Women's World Cup while traveling with my sister, and father.  We were on a long road trip, starting in California, swinging down through the southwest, up the eastern seaboard, and across the top of the country, ending in Oregon.

Each night my sister and I tuned into ESPN, and SportsCenter to see the highlights of the World Cup.  We watched the women's team beat China in the final, 5-4 on pks.  

I don't know what the equivilent is for soccer, but well rowed Coach DiCicco.  Well rowed.
