Take Two
It's been a very busy past 48 hours as we gear up for the Covered Bridge Regatta - starting tomorrow - and Brentwood and of course it's never too early to start thinking about Regionals.
Once again I'm making this post the night before a race although this weekend is a little less stressed than the last time. For starters we're here for the duration of the weekend so it means we can focus on racing tomorrow rather than loading up for a return trip. Secondly, while the regatta runs all day, again we will not be in a hurry to return home and instead can relax and go about our business.
It's hard to believe that with this regatta we've reached the mid point of the season. Only Brentwood stands between us and Regionals and then the end of the competitive spring season. We are still finding spring speed but tomorrow and the scrimmage we've arranged on Sunday, should be an indicator of where we are and how much further we have to go. I'm looking forward to seeing how much progress we've made.
