"Spring" in the NW
Some pictures from yesterday's canceled practice. It was a pretty decent day until about 3 then clouds rolled in, it started to rain and just as I was walking to the boathouse, the sound of thunder. The next thing I know it's hailing, there's some lightning and even more thunder - one clap sounded like a bomb over the boathouse. It's not the northeast or a hurricane but it was definitely a memorable way to kick off practice.

Of course the weather turned perfect right at 4 but we decided to stay on land anyhow. After sweeping the docks and ramp and a few random hail ball fights, we still managed to get in an effective practice. We've got boat loading today for the Covered Bridge Regatta this weekend. Here's to hoping that we can get it done without a repeat of yesterday.
