Hero status?
I ran into a former rower while packing up to head home. He was part of the crew team from 2004 - 2008 which means I just missed getting to know him. Our exchange was rather odd. Ryan was in the office talking with him when I walked in and he introduced us.
"Wait, you're Woody?? Oh man, this is great! I've heard so much about you. I remember hearing stories about you my freshmen year."
"All good things I hope."
"Oh yea. Man you're a legend around here."
I think we've got the wrong person here. I was not a legend by any stretch of the imagination while I was on the team. But it was nice to be remembered.
