Oregon State posted this announcement on their Facebook feed, and have just uploaded it on the main athletics website.
I'm very excited about this news. Since interning with OSU, I've felt a strong connection with the athletes, the administrators and the university. I was gutted when the baseball program lost two hard fought games and fell just short of the championship series at the NCAA Championships, and I've watched as the women's basketball program has absolutely exploded onto the scene. It's a very exciting time for the university, and I've definitely felt the charm that Corvallis brings.
I believe this sets a new direction for this program, and brings in a coach ready to help this program evolve, and grow.
